RE: The Demon Prince owns you now (Simply&Myth)

(Ah! Now I know why you said icecream! o.o; )

James wasn't so naive to think that Weilan would forgive him right away but he would have felt better if the boy would give him some kind of clue that he was listening to James' confession. He allowed Weilan to shrug out of his hold when he agreed to drink something. James would have felt better if Weilan would both eat and drink something, but drinking something was better then nothing. The boy also needed a bath and some rest; a lot of rest.

James climbed to his feet and disappeared into the hallway, without a word in Weilan's direction. It was several minutes before James reappeared with Lena in tow, an encouraging smile on her face and a simple glass of water in her hand. She walked over to Weilan and gave him a gentle hug before placing the glass in his hand.

"I'm going to have a bath prepared for you then you can get some rest" James said, indifference covering his true feelings. He disappeared from the room once more.

Weilan took the glass from Lena, ignoring James altogether. "Thanks." he said quitely as he took a sip. "I...I'm sorry about...this week." he said to Lena not quite sure how to put it in words, but figured she'd know what he ment. If not not, then maybe she was pefect for James. (Sorry, harsh I know, but come on! It's Weilan, and what he's been put through! Oy vey!) Weilan turned to look at the door that Kames had just gone out of then look back to Lena with a worried epression. "I hope he doesn't plan on joining me, because if that's the case...please kill me now." Even though it may have sounded like Weilan was joking, he was being a hundred percent serious as he looked at Lena with pleading eyes. Weilan glanced at the cup in his hands and took another sip, waiting agonizingly until James returned.

( That's my 'oy vey!' *smacks* step off bitch! XD )

Lena dropped on to her knees next to Weilan and hesitantly placed a hand on his shoulder. She sympathized with Weilan after everything he had been through this week, she half hoped, now that Weilan was on the road to recovery, that James would retreat back to guard duty and leave him be. She glanced down and smiled bitterly, as if James would ever take a hint.

Lena glanced back up, "I'll speak to him about it, but I don't think he will be joining you. He's understood that he screwed up.." she nearly choked on the words but managed to get them out. She smiled at Weilan, concern on her face, "You just concentrate on getting better."

James returned half an hour later. He was clean and dressed in a new outfit when he entered the room. "Lena, will you take Weilan to the showers on the second floor? I have a meeting with my father and brothers."

Lena merely glanced at James before nodding her agreement.

Weilan nodded at Lena's word's but didn't look at her. He continued to sip from the water glass until it was gone. Which by that time James had returned. Weilan grew slightly tense as James asked Lena to take him to the showers on the second floor. Not wanting to admit it, but Weilan wasn't sure he'd be able to walk there, after all, he tried to get away from James only minutes ago and failed miserably. Weilan shot a look at Lena and started to say something to her, but then stopped, because he didn't like the thought of James having to carry him. Which he was pretty sure he (James) would have done if he said something. Instead, he sat the glass on the table, took a deep breath and stood up. Both his knees cracked as he did so, and he winced a bit, but it wasn't enough to cause him to fall back on the couch. (Surprisingly) "Shall we go then?" he asked Lena softly, not wanting to be in James' presence any longer.

James seemed to tense under Weilan's mere presense in the room. He couldn't back out and pretend that the boy didn't exist, as he had tried for the past week, but he wasn't sure how to begin even speaking with him again. Of course, he knew Weilan wasn't going to make it easy, why should he, and the fact that James was even considering all of this made anger rise within him. James was suppose to the Master and Weilan was the slave.

How did they end up in this situation, where James felt as though he was making it up to a lover? James' real lover, Lena, didn't want anything to do with him and that didn't bother nearly as much as Weilan's hate towards him. James' hand curled and uncurled in to a fist at his side. He took a step forward and sweapt Weilan off of his feet before the boy even had a chance to protest. He disappeared from the room with the boy in his arms.

Everything seemed to play out in slow motion as Weilan turned and looked as James took a step towards him. His facial expression became horrified as James swept him off his feet and carried him out of the room. Once outside, time caught back up with him, and he began to struggle in James' hold. "Put me down, dammit!" Weilan said, it was mixed between an order and a cry for help. A mixture of angry and fearful tears were freely flowing from his eyes. "Put...me...down!" Weilan said, becoming a bit hysterical. He didn't think he be able to keep stuggling for much longer, but some how or another he managed to bring his one hand down and connected with the side of James face. Not only did he seem to slap him, but he left some scratch marks as well.

Weilan became rigid, as he realized what he had done. 'I'm so dead!' he thought sickly to himself. His face became flushed, and he turned it away from James'. In a sence, Weilan wanted more then anything to withdraw himself from this moment. He didn't want to know what the outcome would be...

Just the opposite that was happening for Weilan was happening for James, things were happening in a blur. The panicked cries for help coming from the boy went ignored but the slap seemed to be surreal. The sound of skin hitting skin echoed off the walls and made it's way back to him and only then did realisation set in. James paused at the end of the hallway, just at the top of the staircase. Several things ran through his head, despite the events of the past week his family was one of them. Perhaps they had been right and James had gotten in over his head with this slave. He had become quickly attached to him, Weilan was whitty and refreshing compared to the others and now he was scared stiff to even be in the same room as James.

The young demon Prince sat Weilan down on his own two feet and touched a hand to his cheek. The scratch marks were bleeding, but they were shallow and would close up within minutes. James turned his attention to the boy in front of him and fixed him with an angry coal black gaze, "When Lena leaves, you are going with her. You can choose to bathe now or not, it's your choice." James pushed past Weilan and continued his journey, down the stairs.

(("Wait a minute...the shower is upstairs, not down. You're going the wrong way!" Weilan threw his hands up in the air and walked over to James grabbing his hand. "God, don't you know the way around in your own castle?" he asked impatiently as he pulled James along with him up the stairs. Me: Hahaha, sorry. I couldn't resist, even if they're on the third floor, it's still funny.))

'Here it comes.' Weilan thought to himself as James sat him down, but was surprised when James only started talking to him. "Wait...what?!" Weilan called after James as he walked down the stairs, confused. "What do you mean when Lena leaves I'm going with her? Like for good?" Weilan was becoming irratated and he wasn't sure why. He walked to the steps and looked over the railing to where James was decending. "Wait a minute..." he called, running down the steps towards James. His foot slipped on the sixth step from the landning and he slid down the rest. "Ow..." Weilan winced in pain as he rubbed his throbbing butt. 'Shouldn't have ran down the steps.' he thought to himself.

Weilan sat there, making no effort to get up and follow James, or even to return to the room. "So that's it?" he said, his tone and voice completely different from a few seconds ago. "You can't handle things when they get hard so you just get rid of the problem? Huh...that's cowardly," he said shaking his head in disbelief, "and so not like you." Weilan's words were harsh. He stared James down with peircing dark blue (usually light blue) eyes.

(XD omg! for a minute there i actually thought i was wrong..)

"No" James said as he rounded on Weilan from just a few feet away as the boy crashed on the landing of the second floor. He restrained himself from moving towards him, just simply lowered his gaze to keep eye contact with him. "Lena and I have decided to call off the engagement and she wants to return to her Kingdom. She asked me if you could accompany her, until you're done recovering, unless you want to stay with her 'for like good' " James said, slightly mocking Weilan.

James turned away from Weilan then and ran his fingers through his inky black spikes. "I told her yes. I think it would be better for you to recover in the presence of someone you trust." The young demon Prince looked back at Weilan over his shoulder, "Do not call me a coward again or there will be a problem."

"So I don't get any say in this at all?" Weilan asked upset. "Your just going to ship me off with your 'ex fiance' so I can recooperate just because you think I trust her?" Weilan turned his face slightly to the right, grabbing the railing and pulled himself up lightly dusting himself off. He inhaled deeply, and upon breathing out he looked James in the eyes and said, "Coward."

James tensed under Weilan's words but he turned away from facing him. He knew the redhead was only trying to get a rise out of him and if he did right now, it might not be pleasant. "No, you don't get a say in this. Weilan, you're a slave." His words were hard and calculated, no emotion portrayed in them. It didn't matter, it was the truth and James intended to see things put back on the track they belonged on; he noticed the lines were becoming too blurred as of lately.

"You leave in the morning" James said and continued down the hallway of the second floor without turning back.

"Some problem you caused for me calling you a coward." Weilan said mockingly under his breath. "Whatever." he said much louder so that James could here. Weilan followed after James but made no attempt to catch up with the man. Right now all he was looking forward to was showering, and hopefully that was where James was leading him.

'I may have put on a strong front,' Weilan thought to himself, 'but physically speaking.' Weilan was leaning against the wall to support himself, shaking slightly. "How much further is it?" Weilan called out to James as he stopped to rest and catch his breath for a second. He had become quite weak being locked in the cage and not eating for the past few days. He didn't bother to stretch his legs either, let alone move them at all...not such a great idea, and Weilan would deffinately kick himself right now if he could.

James whirled around, the mocking tone snapping something within him. He knew the boy was still following him and he was well aware of the fact that he was weak and quite unable to handle a long walk like this, which was why James was carrying him in the first place. The demon Prince took Weilan by the shoulders and pushed him against the wall, his butterscotch gaze baring down at him in a seering manor. Despite the front James was putting on, he was cursing himself inside, he had promised himself he wasn't going to let Weilan get to him but he had.

"I take back what I said. I do want to know what your say in this is. I'm sure I will find out, either way because you couldn't shut your mouth to save your life!" James growled. "You are a slave, bought for my amusement and nothing more. Slaves have no rights, I'm not even required to treat you like a living, breathing, being, but I do."

"If you think spending a week in a cage and the shape you're in now is bad, then you're better off if I toss you to the creatures on the dark side of the Kingdom and let you die. You wouldn't last one minute as another demon's slave. They'd have killed you for your mouth alone by now!"

James let his eyes travel slowly over Weilan in a thoughtful, calculating way before meeting his eyes once more. "I could do it myself. It wouldn't take much, you're already weak."

Weilan gave a little yelp of surprise as he was pushed against the wall, James' gaze baring down on him. He unastoundingly staring back. Weilan's face became flushed as he grew angry with the words James said. He opened his mouth to retort, but just froze. Tears weld up in his eyes and he started to tremble slightly under James' hold. In his state, there was no way he could keep up with James. Even if he tried, he'd fail miserably. "I'm sorry." he said in a whisper, "I give up. I'll do what ever you want me to..." he paused then tacked on "Master." Some tears slipped down his cheeks and he reached up to wipe the away.

James drew back with a heavy, exasperated sigh. He fought the urge to roll his eyes as he released his hold on Weilan's shoulders with a shake of his head. He didn't want a completely submissive slave, but he did want one that would appreciate and cooperate when he was offering them a chance to get away and recooperate after a punishment that he felt badly enough about as it was.

"This is why I'm sending you with Lena, Weilan" James said, matter of factly. "Now, may I?" He gestured towards Weilan's weak form, looking as though he would collapse on the floor at any given moment. It really was a sad state that Weilan was in and nothing James could think of would make it better, so he wasn't about to walk on eggshells to please the boy. Instead he would act as he always did, (wishy washy) and maybe, if Weilan listened hard enough, James would uncharacteristically apologize.

James reached out and brushed away the redhead's tears before sweaping him up in to his arms, without waiting for a reply from him. He began heading in the direction of the showers at the very end of the hall.

Before Weilan had a chance to respond, James brushed away some tears from the red heads face and swept him up into his arms, heading towards the shower at the end of the hall. Upon reaching the dorr, it opened of it's own accord to allow tho two entrance, and then closed behind thwm with a small click. In a withdrawn voice Weilan asked, "Can you set me down, please?" He seemed to be staring off into space before he glanced up at James.

Upon entering the bathroom James swung him back down on to his feet. He held on to the boy and made sure he was steady enough to stand on his own before releasing him. James walked the wide pathway in front of the row of showers. The room was set up such like a locker room, complete with tiles covering almost every surface, yet the cleanliness couldn't be mistaken for a common locker room. The row of showers were seperated by walls and each shower had a curtain for privacy from others' walking in front of it. Each shower was also fully stocked with the necessary items for taking a shower.

James gestured towards the showers, waiting for Weilan to make his own choice. "I won't be joining you" he said in a reassuring tone.

Weilan nodded coherently, and walked sluggishly over to the first shower and started to strip his clothes off. As he pulled his shirt up over his head, he managed to get it stuck on his hair somehow. After a few seconds (almost comically) he stuggled to remove it before giving up. He took a deep breath to calm himself then asked aloud, "Can I have some help with this?' He stood there somewhat impatiently, shifting from one for to the other, waiting for James to give his reply.

( *James walked over and tugged Weilan's shirt off* No more extra strength hairspray for you! lol )

James leaned away from the wall facing the showers and walked over to Weilan. He would have found the scene funny under different circumstances but the mood wasn't right and things weren't settled between them just yet. He watched the redhead hop from foot to foot, finding it entertaining and it caused him to frown, knowing the boy would be gone in the morning. He remember his reaction when Lena called off the engagement, his pride and ego took a hit but he didn't feel in his heart that he was losing something but when she demanded to have Weilan come with her, James flat out refused. After some consideration, and a lot of sucking up, James agreed to let Weilan recooperate with her but nothing more.

He shook his head, coming back in from memory lane, and reached inside of the boy's shirt to widen the collar and pull it painlessly over his head. He laid it over his arm and took a step back from him.

"Thanyou." Weilan said somewhat reluctant. Without too much attention to James, he continued to remove his clothes. Once he was down to nothing but his boxes, he had a little more decency to step into the shower stall and pull the curtain shut. As he removed his boxers, he gave a startled gasp. Where he had burned himself a week and a half earlier, was a pretty noticable scar. It could have been much worse if it hadn't been treated. The same could be said that he wouldn't of had a scar if had continued to recieve treatment. just one more thing to add to his list.

Weilan turned the water on, adjusting it to a temperature he found favorable, then stepped into the stream of water. He let it engulf him, welcoming all the aspects of the water. Grabbing some soap and a washcloth, he began to wash his neck and shoulders. He stook there for a second, a bit shocked at just how weak and frail he bacame within the past week. 'I really don't want to see myself in a mirror right now.' he thought somewhat bitterly to himself.

A few minutes later, as he finished washing his hair, he turned the shower off and made about drying himself off. One problem, there was no towel, or at least not that Weilan could see and he checked again just to make sure he didn't pass over it. With a heavy sigh when he didn't happen to see one he called out to James, who he kind of hoped was still near by. "Do I get a towel?" he asked bluntly.

James had busied himself with things he normally didn't bother with, such as cleaning up Weilan's clothes and sending them off to be burned, because there would be no way to save them. (Even with a hundred, NO! a thousand washes! *all dramatic like*) As the man stepped into the hallway to pass Weilan's dirty clothes off to a maid, he traded her for a set of towels - one for his body, the other for his hair if he needed it. James accepted the exchange and even thanked the women, absentmindedly, before turning away.

He caught Weilan's call from the door way just as he was turning around to come back. The demon Prince delivered the set of towels to Weilan and just as he was about to turn away he happened to catch a glimpse of the scars left on Weilan's legs. That had taken him by surprise. James pulled the curtain back and crouched down to take a closer look at them. They seemed to be infected without continuous care, James' had completely forgotten about the burns during the week. He had pushed himself harder every day to just forget, everything.

Weilan stood there dumb-founded and shocked as James pulled back the shower curtain and crouched to get a better look at his scarred legs. Very slowly, after a few seconds, Weilan wrapped the towel around his waist, covering the scars on his legs. All the while he just stared at James as he remained crouched infront of him. "Thankyou, " he squeaked, then cleared his throat "for the towel." He stepped out of the stall, and glanced around, as if looking for something. His gaze fell upon James as he posed the question, "Clothes?" At the moment Weilan's stomach growled, causing his face to flush lightly. With a hafl hearted smile he added, "And maybe something to eat?"

The realisation of what James had done seemed to crash down on him, both psysically and mentally. He jerked back and, unable to catch himself before he fell on his ass, he did just that. Under normal circumstances James would have scrambled to his feet and sulked the rest of the day over his bruised pride and ego; but then again, when had the situation between Weilan and James ever been normal? They were a wrong fit right from the start. Perhaps James pushed Weilan in to the cage and kept himself away, because he saw a lot of himself in Weilan and he rejected that part of him.

James reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose and close his eyes for a moment as if in deep thought. No, he didn't want to think about the past any more. James wanted to dismiss it because he couldn't change it but he could make a difference here and now. Opening his eyes again, the demon Prince climbed to his feet and made his way to the bathroom door. A maid was patiently waiting just outside with Weilan's new clothing. James collected them and returned them to the redhead.

"After you change, we'll go get you something to eat. How are you feeling?" James asked in a 'concerned but I don't want to act like I'm concerned' sort of tone.

Weilan stood there frozen as James fell on his ass. In normal circumstances, he would have laughed at the prince, but with the way things were so tense between them right now. Weilan held his breath until James spoke to him, "I'm...ok?" Weilan said rather awquardly. It seemed he was finding it very hard to find his voice today. Weilan took a deep breath to calm himself down, "I'll get fressed then..." he said, sounding more like himself. While Weilan was setting out his clothes, he couldn't help but notice he was given a pair of boxers, causing a faint smile to creep across his face. After a few second Weilan stepped out from another shower stall (the one he used was wet) fully dressed. "Tada." he said unentutiastcally as he spun around, until he was once again facing James.

James was suddenly struck with the memory of telling Weilan that he rather liked the idea of a gag to shut him up. That had been said in anger and frustration, yet in his current reality Weilan was quiet and it was unsettling. James suddenly wanted a mouthy Weilan to protest every word he said, maybe not that far but close.

The unenthusiastic toned 'tada' brought James out of his thoughts, which he had been sinking in to a lot lately. This situation with Weilan was causing him to take a closer look at himself and his family. A faint smile came to James lips as he admired Weilan's form fitting black outfit. Weilan would have looked perfect in it but it only threw it in James' face about how much, not only Weilan's emotional state, but his physical body had suffered in the past week.

James shook his head, leaving the mess behind them, he picked Weilan back up and began to carry him towards the kitchen. He had every intension of feeding the redhead then taking him back to his room so he could rest. What he hadn't intended, was Lena's presence in the kitchen when they got there.

"Weilan! ..You look so sick honey" Lena said with a concerned and sad tone.

Weialn rose a brow as a faint smile came to James lips. He could see himself running through the door screaming to escape whatever though plagued James mind at the moment. But before he could say anything, James had picked him up and was carrying him off towards the kitchen. "I can walk you know." Weilan said matter-of-factly, but really saw in no more point to argue the matter after that. Weilans mind wondered slightly and he came to realize that James had been carrying him around a lot, even more so now. He just sighed the thought away as the entered the kichen, where Lena was already at. Weilan hissed slightly (jokingly) at the woman, "Don't say the the *he used his fingers to make quations in the air* "S" word...he might hear you!" he said covering the side of his face and pointing at James.

James stopped the cringe within his mind from making itself publicly known, as Lena's voice filled the air. The women closed the gap between them with a smile, aimed at only Weilan of course, "So, what are you hungry for?" she asked in an enthusiastic tone. She hoped that she wasn't patronizing Weilan too bad, she just wanted him to get better, her heart was in the right place.

James made his way around Lena and carried the redheaded boy to the table pushed off to the side of the kitchen. Lena pulled back a chair and James placed him on it. "Anything in particular you want, Weilan?" James asked, flashing Lena a dirty look.

"Peace between our Kingdoms will be kept if you keep your dirty looks to yourself" Lena replied in a sing-song tone with a sarcastic smile that sent James into complete silence.

Weilan wanted nothing more then to crawl into a hole and disappear. He had completely forgotten about James and Lena breaking off the engagement. "Don't be so hard on him Lena." Weilan snapped a little bit at the women, rolling his eyes. "I mean..." a bit of surprised shock crossed Weilan features as he stood up for James, "can I just have some scrambled eggs and toast?" he tacked on quite quickly. "And maybe...some...coffee." Both Lena and James would staring at him, and he started to slowly sink down in his seat mummbling incoherantly to himself.

Both Lena and James turned to stare at Weilan upon his out burst. Neither expected Weilan to stick up for James, especially James. Both Lena and James were frozen in place and the minutes seemed to tick by slowly until somewhere in the kitchen another slave dropped something that made a loud crashing noise. The raven haired women jumped as she was startled and James made a grunting noise like he was clearing his throat, both using the excuse to look away.

"Weilan, sit up" James corrected him, a bit absentmindedly, "And do you have to have coffee? Can't you have something cold..juice maybe?" The thought of coffee brough the image of the burn scars on Weilan's legs to mind and James' didn't want to think about that, althought while he wasn't already not thinking about it, he decided to take a detour to the Infirmiry before taking Weilan back to his room to rest.

Weilan sat up and used his hands to cover his face like a visor. "I could have juice or something cold, but I really would like some coffee." Weilan wasn't try to win an agruement, but he really would have liked a cup of coffee. He was thankful for the other slave that came in and got everyones mind off of him, but it made it slightly more awkward as well. "Lena?" he called without looking up, "About my food...could you just cook it and bring it upstairs to me? I want to go lay down for a bit." Weilan stood up, took a few steps, and then collapsed on to the floor. Thank goodness it was nothing more then exhastion, (the doctor said so!) and Weilan only needed to sleep for a little while.

James placed a hold on the food and, coffee at Weilan's request, until he would be awake to actually enjoy it warm as it should be. James saw Weilan going down and he couldn't stand up fast enough to catch the boy before he collapsed on the ground. He had scooped him up and carried him, Lena hovering over him, to the Infirmiry just as he had planned to. The nurse hadn't confirmed their worst fears but had cautioned them towards bringing the boy any stress. Weilan needed rest and some food and he would be on the road to recovery.

James took Lena aside while Weilan slept in the Infirmiry bed. "I don't think it's a good idea for Weilan to go back with you in the morning." The raven haired women shot James a glare, "Why not? He's in bad shape but in my Kingdom we have healing springs that will speed his recovery and plus, you said it yourself, he trusts me more."

That had stung. James glared back at her, "He collapsed, travel isn't an option right now. Not going as far as you have to go to get home."

"I have an idea. We'll ask Weilan when he wakes up." Lena said. They both agreed.

Sleeping. Dreamless.

Weilan woke up, not sure of what time it was, but sure enough that he had been moved to James' room. He had a slight headache, but nothing a few asprin couldn't handle. Weilan went to call out, but his throat was too dry, and he dare not move. He would just have to wait until someone came to check on him to ask for those things. Which he was sure wouldn't take too long because he could hear sounds coming from the other room.

Forty-eight hours Weilan had been in his unconsious state and many things had taken place. James and Lena had began to worry but the nurse assured them that this was normal for the sort of state Weilan was in when he was brought to her. James had almost forgotten to tell her about the infected burn scars on Weilan's legs, while worrying about everything else. It turned out Lena had enough rage in her to scare a slave into spilling his guts, so to speak, after James tried telling her Weilan couldn't go back home with her. Bec had come forth and confessed Weilan's innocence, although the boy did burn the cross he was unaware that he had. James called a family meeting to go about dealing out proper punishment now that the truth was out and that's when Lena went to check up on Weilan and found him awake, finally.

The raven haired demoness handed Weilan two asprins and a glass of room temperature water. She smiled at him and kept talking to him in a low, soothing voice explaining to him what had happened while he was asleep.

Weilan took the glass and asprins and nodded thankfully. "Much better." he said after he finished off the water, and listened to Lena explain all that happened over the past twenty four hours. Somewhere between absentmindedly and blurting it out, Weilan asked, "What about you and James though?" Where was James? Apart from being there one second and gone the next, you could never tell if he was coming or going. Weilan shook the thought from his head and looked back to Lena, "And what about my scrambled eggs, toast, and coff...well, let's make it apple juice." he said smiling at her. "I'm really hungry." he joked.

Lena had pulled a chair up next to the bed and sat down upon it for a moment. She felt like she needed a rest herself, as though she had run a marathon with all the things that were going on. Taking in a deep breath, Lena said, "James and I decided that, although we do love each other and have been friends since childhood, a long time ago, that a marriage couldn't work between us. We're too much alike to get along, butting egos I think. But..don't worry about that, I'll come visit to annoy James and stick up for you. I've grown very fond of you."

Lena pushed the chair back and stood. She leaned over and placed a kiss on Weilan's cheek then leaned back up. "Now, I'm going to go get your food."

("Would you hurry up a little bit faster? My food ain't going to make itself." Weilan said as he gave Lena a smack on the butt.)

Weilan watched quitely as Lena pulled a chair beside the bed, sat down on it (it broke), and began speaking. he just nodded his head politely in agreeent until she said about coming to visit to annoy James, which Weilan just shook his head and rolled his eyes slightly. "Thankyou." Weilan said as Lena kissed him on the cheek and then headed off in the direction of the kitchen. 'I wonder where James is?" Weilan thought as he slid down in the covers and turned on to his side.

( *Lena turns around and smacks Weilan up side his head* Now you get bread and water! )

As Lena slipped out of the room and crossed the sitting room to the main door of James' chambers, she shook her head. There was no way she could win Weilan over James. Reguardless if the redhead was willing to admit it at the moment he liked James and it was obvious that James liked Weilan as well. Lena had been friends with James for years and had never seen him act strangely around a slave before. It was clear the lines between Master and slave were blurred past the point of no return. Oddly enough, Lena found herself ok with it but she would never let James know he had won her over in the end. She smiled to herself and headed for the kitchen.

Mean while James was wrapping up the meeting with his family. His father had told him that he would deal with Tristan and that James could either claim Bec as his own or he was to be sent back to the slave market. The young demon Prince couldn't make a split decision over Bec's life like that, deciding he would take some time to think about it and give his answer soon. The demon King wasn't happy with the reply but it accepted it, given the circumstances, then ended the meeting.

James had been on his way back to his room when he spotted Lena half way up the staircase to the second floor. The tray in her hands looked heavy and James rushed up to hold it. Lena smirked and 'politely' refused. "I'm a demon, just the same as you Jamie. I can handle a tray." They entered James' bedroom together and in a better mood then they had been in a while.

(Music starts to play, Weilan slides into the sitting area in a white long sleeve button up shirt, whitey-tighties, and sunglasses. He's using a hairbrush for a mic, and is singing "Just take those old records off the shelf...")

Weilan was still in the bed, laying on his side, reading a book. One of the castle maids, brought it to him. Weilan had just started on the book, not really interested in it, but considering he didn't want to get out of bed and possibly get yelled at and/or even faint again, this was his next best option. The smell of food caught Weilan's nose, even before James and Lena entered the room. Just then a thought hit Weilan, "Did Lena cook the food?" he thought out loud, but not loud enough for others to hear. 'I guess I'll just have to grin and bear it...' he thought. "Lena? Did you get me juice instead of coffee like I asked...please and thankyou."

( *James walks in and just stares* What have I gotten myself into? )

Lena entered the room first as she was the one carrying the tray and James had hung back for his own reasons. He was certain that Lena had already told Weilan everything that had happened in the time that he was asleep. If Weilan had been paying attention, he would have noticed Lena's delayed trip home, she was scheduled to leave two days ago but chose to stay and make sure Weilan was fine.

The raven haired demoness smiled as she walked over to the large bed. She took notice of the book clutched in the redhaired boy's hands as she set the tray across his lap. The silver tray was a retangle in shape with the side folded up in order to keep things from slidding off of flat edges, scrambled eggs, toast, and two drinks were set upon it, a mug of coffee and a glass of apple juice. "What's that you're reading?" Lena asked, while walking back around the bed and sitting down in her chair from earlier.

James had taken refuge against one of the four walls making up his bedroom. Although things had been sorted out with his family, he was unsure of where he stood with Weilan; their balance was delicate to say the least and James simply wish for him to eat and begin to recover.

"I'm not really sure." Weilan answered honestly. "One of the maids brought it to me, and I just started reading it." Even thought Weilan was talking to Lena he wasn't looking at her. After a few moments he sighed and set the book down on the bed. "Thankyou." Weilan said looking at the food and then to Lena. "Did you cook it?" he asked earnestly. Weilan looked back down at the food and thought, 'It doesn't look half bad, there was nothing to worry about.'

While Weilan waited for Lena to answer, he couldn't help but sneek a peek over at James who was leaning against a wall. Pretty sure that James would have seen him look, Weilan smiled faintly. "Oh, here." Weilan carefully picked up the coffee cup and handed it out to Lena. "I didn't want coffee, the juice is good enough."

(Num-num, eat it all up)

Lean's smile morphed into a grin as she pulled the chair closer to the bed. She leaned forward and crossed her arms in front of her to act as a pillow as she rested her chin upon them. She snorted softly at his question. "No, I didn't cook it. James has servants in the castle for that, I want you to get better not worse. Anyway reading is good for you, maybe you should give the book a real chance when you're done eating."

The momentary pause in their interaction was Lena watching Weilan intensely as he offered up James a faint smile. The women shook her head gently, she had definately lost this one. She wasn't sure what the redhead was playing at as he lifted the coffee mug and handed it to her. Leaning up, she prepared to take it with a raised brow. "You said you really wanted coffee" she spared James a knowing glance, "What made you change your mind?"

"I never said I wasn't going to finish reading the book, I only said that I really didn't know what it was about...never mind, it's not important." Weilan glanced down at the food when Lena said that she didn't make it, and that she wanted him to get better and not worse. 'I take it she can't cook then...' Weilan thought to himself, taking a bite of eggs and avoiding her other question for the time being. After he took a few more bites, and dranks some of his juice, he looked at Lena and said, "That was, what? Two days ago? I just didn't want it anymore." He picked up a peice of toast, taking a bite out of it, then took another drink of juice.

Within the next few mintues Weilan had finished eating his food, and thanked Lena for bringing it to him. All the while, he would steal a glance over in James direction wondering why he wasn't saying anything. It was starting to un-nerve him a little bit.

James listened to Weilan's backtalk to Lena with a faint and interested smirk. He kept catching the boy's glances aimed at him, despite the boy trying to hide them. He knew from the increased amount of glances that Weilan was becoming slightly unnerved by James. The young demon Prince also found this interesting. He remained silent and just watched as though he were looking for something in particular.

Lena accepted the coffee mug and pushed her seat back to stand up. "Oh, that's the reason, eh?" she asked. She leaned forward and kissed Weilan's forehead once more. "If you say so, honey." She pulled back and turned towards James, "I'll be back later, I have something to do. You two have fun." The raven haired women did something only she would have guts to do, she winked at James then exited the room with the coffee.

("NOOO! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Weilan screeched as Lena started to walk away from him. "James is giving me the heeby-jeebies..." he sobbed.)

Weilan pulled away from Lena kissing his forehead. He found it quite annoying, to say the least, and watched her walk past James. He scoffed at her comment about them having 'fun' but flushed a little bit. The thought of being left alone with James at the moment both angered and intrigued him. Weilan stared at James for a few seconds after Lena had left the room contiplating on what to say, but lost his nerve and picked up the book to start reading.

James pushed off the wall and closed the gap between him and the bed. He kept his mouth closed and made sure not to linger too long next to Weilan as he collected the empty and dirty dishes on the tray. In a swift movement, James followed Lena's suit by disappearing from the room. It was close to an hour when James returned to his room, only to greet Weilan with the most oddest of sights. It was a moot point, but James wouldn't normally act this way in front of a slave under normal circumstances. (a big strong man dancing about in a hot pink tu-tu XD) The young demon Prince returned to his post against the bedroom wall, a vanilla ice cream cone in hand. He returned as silently as he had left so as not to interupt Weilan's reading.

Weilan had tensed as James closed the gap between him and the bed, only to have James collect the dishes. He had continued to read his book after James left, finding it quite interesting. Something to do with with a wizard who goes to a school for magic. (Lol! XD) When James came back in the room. Weilan hadn't noticed at first, and every so often he would look up from his book to the spot where James had been standing. Only this time when he glanced up, James was there with and ice cream cone. Weilan's head shot up, as he realized James was actually there, "How long have you been standing there, and why didn't you say anything?" Weilan asked.

James glanced up from under his pointy black bangs and gave Weilan that faint smirk he had been giving him all day but he didn't say a word in reply. Lifting his vanilla cone up, James licked the side before it could drip down his hand, it was melting rather quickly. Apparently it was hotter in James' room then he realised before. He turned the cone and continued licking the melting thing, seemingly ignoring Weilan altogether. In reality James was watching the boy intensely still looking for something in particluar before he would speak to him. He was thoroughly enjoying the unnerving feeling he was causing within Weilan.

Weilan glared at James as he continued to lick his melting ice cream, while watching Weilan intently without a word. "Fine!" he snapped at the man, "I don't care if you talk to me or not...stupid jerk." The last bit was mumbled as he went back to reading his book, wondering why James even bothered to be in the room if he wasn't going to say anything. Another thought crossed his mind, but he wasn't about to asked James wether or not he was still to go with Lena back to her kingdom until he regained his strength. Weilan sighed deeply, rather annoyed as he continues to read his book, fighting the urge to throw it at James' head.

James' took Weilan's outburst for what it was, pure frustration and nothing more. He snorted softly as the boy on the bed sulked with his book. If anything James' was glad to see that this illness hadn't effected Weilan's eyes as well as his physical body strength. It seemed the boy was well on his way to getting better, in more ways then one. His attitude was definately restored and James' remembered wanting the mouthier Weilan back, he had got his wish.

Leaning up from the wall, James slowly made his way over to Weilan. He appeared by the bed side and grabbed the top to Weilan's book and pulled it down flat against the bed gently. Leaning over James' placed a cold lipped, vanilla flavored kiss to the redhead's lips then pulled back. He knew the reaction could go one of two ways, Weilan would give him hell or he would be stunned, James would take either.

"I don't want you to go with Lena. She's been delayed two days and needs to go home, but you're well on your way to recovery and although not back to normal I think you're up to the journey if they go slow. I'm leaving the decision to you."

If may have appeared that James' could read the boy's mind but the current subject was just something that had been on James' mind since he heard of Weilan waking up.

Weilan hadn't even noticed that James walked over to the side of the bed until he pushed Weilans book down. He was just about to ask James, 'What the hell are you doing?' when he placed a cold vanilla flavored kiss to his lips. Weilan sat there, his expression going from stunned to angry and back again. He barely heard what he said about leaveing with Lena and letting him make the decision, before he realized what he was doing. Weilan had tossed his book aside, gotten on his knees, grabbed a hold of James by his shirt, and pulled him in for a very hungry kiss. Once Weilan realized what he was doing, he pushed James sharply away. "I'm sorry..." he said quickly, a bit out of breath. "I don't know...I'm not sure what..." he rambled, before sitting back on the bed and grabbing his book. He had covered his face and tried to pick up reading where he left off.
